Therapy Workshops

I have offered numerous workshops at colleges, business, and as standalone events..

Emotional Wellness

Why are emotions so central? What is their value? Discover in this workshop how to understand your emotions and thus how to direct yourself to the actions you need to take.

Creativity

Explore the creative process and various methods that enhance perception and find inspiration to produce an authentic piece of work. No artistic abilities required.

Anger Management

This workshop delves into the primary feelings we have when we become angry; our triggers; our attitudes that prime us to getting angry; and ways we can respond differently while still getting our needs met.

Procrastination

This workshop is designed to explore this self-constructed mental trap, the dynamics that set us up for it, and ways we can escape it.

Essential Stress Management Toolbox

Expand your understanding of stress: identify the stressors in your life; understand the symptoms and methods of dealing with them as used in counselling; and learn and practise two pragmatic techniques to reduce stress. A handout will be provided.

Introduction to Counselling & Psychotherapy – a free workshop

Psychotherapy is one of the most effective ways of gaining self-awareness and affecting personal change. Over the past century, the practice of psychotherapy has evolved through asking deeper questions and answering them through research, the integration of evidence-based approaches, and developing sensitivity to every person’s unique context, environment, and cultural background.

Good Posture Workshop

Good posture can arrest us instantly. It commands us, conveys an ability from within, a kind of balance, and a deliverance toward ease and flow. It also can mean different things to different people. In this workshop you are invited to explore the psychological implications of your posture while physically aligning your body.

Be Your Own Valentine: Exploring movement, self-awareness, and love

Love. So much is written about love. We read about it, talk about it, touch it whenever we can. Yet, sometimes it remains a cliché, something outside of our daily lives. This workshop is designed to reconnect us with our love for ourselves, even in the most unforgivable acts we may have done, as a path to loving others and being a lover in life. This workshop is designed to facilitate an experiential and kind space in which participants can move into a safe and soulful one-on-one time with their own needs and desires. Explore what self love looks like, how to become more self-aware and self-accepting, and how to step forward with greater confidence in one’s self.
